The Digital SAT 30-day study plan

A day-by-day plan for the month before your Digital SAT, built around Bluebook practice tests and a mistake log.

Before you start (day 0)

Take one full-length practice test in the College Board's Bluebook app under real conditions. Save your score report. Start a mistake log: a simple sheet with the question, the section, why you missed it (didn't know it / misread / ran out of time), and the rule or idea that would have gotten it right.

Confirm your test date and registration details on the College Board website. Dates and policies change, so always check the official source.

Week 1: Find the patterns

  • Days 1-2: Review every miss from the practice test. Fill in the mistake log.
  • Days 3-6: Practice only your two weakest question types in Reading and Writing and your two weakest topics in Math, 30-45 minutes a day.
  • Day 7: Rest, then reread your mistake log.

Week 2: Build accuracy

  • Days 8-12: Mixed practice sets, untimed, aiming for zero careless errors. Learn when the built-in Desmos graphing calculator is faster than algebra, and when it isn't.
  • Day 13: Second full-length Bluebook practice test.
  • Day 14: Review it completely and update the log.

Week 3: Add timing

  • Days 15-19: Timed module-length sets. Practice moving on from a hard question and coming back.
  • Day 20: Third full-length practice test.
  • Day 21: Review. Which mistake types are shrinking? Which aren't?

Week 4: Sharpen and rest

  • Days 22-25: Short daily sets on whatever is still in your mistake log.
  • Day 26: Final full-length practice test, at the same time of day as your real test.
  • Days 27-29: Light review of the mistake log only. Sleep.
  • Day 30: Test day. Bring what the College Board's test-day checklist says to bring.

If the same mistakes keep showing up after week 2, that's usually the point where one-on-one help pays for itself.
