Sessions and pricing

Private tutoring is $100 per hour, online or in person. A single session is paid when you book online. In-person sessions take place at public locations in Westchester and NYC. If a location needs more than a short local trip, any travel cost is agreed with you before the session, never added afterward.

Scheduling

After you pay, you tell us which days and times work, and we confirm an exact time by email or phone.

Refunds

Single sessions

• Cancel at least 24 hours before your session starts for a full refund.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, are not refunded.

Session packages (for example, 5-, 10-, or 20-hour packs)

• Refundable in full only if you ask within 24 hours of purchase and before any session has taken place.
• After that, packages are non-refundable, including hours not yet used. Unused hours can be rescheduled.

Always refunded

• If we can't find a session time that works for you after you pay.
• If we cancel a session and you'd rather not reschedule.

To request a refund, email novambuilds@gmail.com or tell your tutor directly, within the time limits above. Approved refunds go back to the original card through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.

Results

Tutoring improves preparation, but we can't guarantee a specific score or grade.
